  • Poster/Print + Digital Album

Following three reschedules and the eventual cancellation of my 'Fragments' album launch show, I've been inundated with suggestions of what to do with the 2000 or so surplus posters and flyers.

Emergency toilet roll was the most common suggestion during Lockdown 1.0, as well as giant paper aeroplane and laminated placemat. However, quite a few of you have mentioned that you'd like a signed poster, so your wish is granted (in exchange for money).

You can send me a message with your order and let me know if you'd like me to scrawl anything in particular, and I'll throw in a signed flyer as an extra memento of the album launch show that never was...

Oh, and you'll also get a free download of the whole album, which ain't a bad deal.

Thanks so much for your ongoing support. The last year or so has been a pretty tricky time to be an already-skint self-employed musician, as you can imagine, so if you're yet to order the album on CD, tape or as a bundle, then that would be a massive help also!

    Stay safe :)

Leave the light on when you go to bed As, as you rest your weary head Yes, yes it's been a long old day for us I climb beside you, safe and warm How, how we've longed to be back home And yes, yes it's been a long old day for us And it's hard for you And it's hard for me And there's nothing we can do But cry peacefully And it's hard for you And it's hard for me And there's nothing we can do But cry peacefully You lie there thinking what to say How, how is it you feel this way? Yes, yes I know you love me all the same I feel you shiver next to me You may close your eyes but you still see And yes, yes I promise you that things will change And it's hard for you And it's hard for me And there's nothing we can do But cry peacefully And it's hard for you And it's hard for me And there's nothing we can do But cry peacefully And it's hard for you And it's hard for me And there's nothing we can do But cry peacefully And it's hard for you And it's hard for me And there's nothing we can do But cry peacefully Leave the light on when you go to bed As, as you rest your weary head Yes, yes it's been a long old day for us

Laura Jones 03:40
We were young, seventeen She was the prettiest thing I’d ever seen And I always knew we coulda been Something more than just a teenage dream And I loved her laugh, and I loved her smile And I lost myself in those big blue eyes And I still find that I’m thinking to myself at night… Whatever happened to Laura Jones? They always said she’d be a star “Mark my words, girl, you’re gonna go far And get yourself a fancy car A Rolls Royce or a Jaguar” And they built her up and they knocked her down And she tried so hard to make it out of this town And I still find that I’m thinking to myself at night… Whatever happened to Laura Jones? And so it is, you drift apart But thinking back to the very start Well I know I didn’t get the part But I’m still sure I coulda won her heart And I miss her laugh, and a miss her smile And I miss looking in those big blue eyes And I still find that I’m thinking to myself at night… Whatever happened to Laura Jones?

High 02:33
Wading through the grass Trying to get high Losing yourself In the deep blue sky And you feel like you can touch it And you wanna go far Wanna get away from here But you don’t know where you are You’re running now, you’re running Well you better not hide The grass is always green On the other side And you feel like you can touch it And you wanna go far Wanna get away from here But you don’t know where you are And you feel like you can touch it And you wanna go far Wanna get away from here But you don’t know where you are Wading through the grass Trying to get high Losing yourself In the deep blue sky

Tell Me 03:52
Tell me what you want Tell me what you need And tell me if it's true that we will never be And tell me if it's me Or tell me if it's you Oh darling, please, I need to know what I can do Oh, I'm sorry And whatever it is, I won't do it again Oh, I'm sorry But I've loved you since the dawn of way back when Oh, I'm sorry And I hope and I pray that this is not the end I am sorry Tell me if I'm right Or tell me if I'm wrong That you should be within my heart where you belong So darling, please don't go I'm begging you to stay Cos I know, I know things are meant to be this way Oh, I'm sorry And whatever it is, I won't do it again Oh, I'm sorry But I've loved you since the dawn of way back when Oh, I'm sorry And I hope and I pray that this is not the end I am sorry Oh, I'm sorry And whatever it is, I won't do it again Oh, I'm sorry But I've loved you since the dawn of way back when Oh, I'm sorry And I hope and I pray that this is not the end I am sorry I am sorry

Dust Cloud 05:04
I saw you Floating away On a dust cloud filled with grey And I watch you Down by the sea As you slowly drift from me You’re singing Sing me to sleep As I feel our love so deep And you held me There by your side And I know how hard you tried I miss you As I try to hide From the hours I have cried But you’re smiling Smiling at me From your dust cloud above the sea I saw you Down by the sea As you slowly drift from me And I watch you Floating away On a dust cloud filled with grey

Timelapse 02:36
7.
Pink blossom snow Falling down to the ground As I walk on home I picked a daffodil Put it on the window-sill All alone And flowers mean nothing to me But I know they used to make you happy It's quiet and I'm all alone Call you on the telephone No one's home Look at the daffodil Sitting on the window-sill All alone And flowers mean nothing to me But I know they used to make you happy These flowers Falling down from the sky Oh, why do they make me think of you? These flowers Falling down from the trees Oh, please let me forget you And your flowers Falling down from the sky Oh, why do they make me think of you? These flowers Falling down from the trees Oh, please let me forget you Let me forget you For a little while Pink blossom snow Falling down to the ground As I walk on home

Hay-on-Wye 03:18
Search for a shooting star In the sky, see what you find Just to see what you find Aeroplanes flickering In the night, passing me by Oh, they're passing me by Climbing trees, skimming stones Photograph a moment in time Just a moment in time Sipping ginger beer By the riverside, Hay-on-Wye But that's by the by Ooh It's just a moment in time Tomorrow now, don't know how Yesterday was lost in a haze We were lost in a haze Drifting down the river With a feeling that it's one of those days This is one of those days Waving to the strangers On the rocks as we're passing them by Oh, we're passing them by Drinking cider sitting By the fireside, Hay-on-Wye But that's by the by Ooh It's just a moment in time Ooh It's just a moment in time Ooh It's just a moment in time...

Fragments 03:44
10.
I, I would drive all through the night As the darkness fades to light Just to see your Morning Smile When, when you hold on to me tight Everything I know is right Make me feel safe for a while And she’s with me As I watch her fall asleep And she’s dreaming As I feel our love so deep And she gives me, she gives me, she gives All that I need All that I need Whenever I see her Morning Smile Time, time is slowly slipping by In these moments I’ll reside When I think of you alone I, know we have to say goodbye But I don’t want to see you cry Though you’re far away from home And she’s with me As I watch her fall asleep And she’s dreaming As I feel our love so deep And she gives me, she gives me, she gives All that I need All that I need Whenever I see her Morning Smile
